Seachem Fine Mesh Aquarium Net – 10 inch, 16 inch Handle, for Shrimp, Fry & Floating Plants
Catch the small stuff without hurting it.
Seachem's fine mesh net is made for delicate animals: shrimp, fry, snails and small fish that tangle or tear in coarse nets. The 10-inch frame is wide enough to scoop duckweed and floaters off the surface in one pass.
The problem
Cheap coarse nets snag fins and let shrimp slip through. Deep nets pull up substrate when you chase fish around the bottom.
The Father Fish way
In a natural tank you want to get in and out without disturbing the sand cap and leaf litter. A wide, fine net lets you skim, catch and lift gently.
Your plan
- Skim floaters. Thin duckweed, salvinia or red root floaters in a pass or two.
- Guide, don't chase. Herd fish or shrimp into the net slowly, or use a second net.
- Rinse and dry after each use.
What you get
- 1 Seachem fine mesh net, 10-inch (25 cm) frame
- 16-inch handle
- Best for 20 gallons and up. For nano tanks, a smaller net is easier to use.
Why it matters
The wrong net means torn fins and lost shrimp. The right one makes maintenance quick and gentle.
