Aquarium Bulb Plants – Tiger Lotus, Aponogeton & Lilies
Bulb plants grow big, bold centerpiece leaves from a single bulb, and they feed from the soil below.
- Dramatic leaves and colors
- Root feeders suited to soil-based tanks
- Bulbs may arrive dormant or sprouting
The Father Fish way: nest the lower part of the bulb in the sand cap and leave the top exposed. Never bury it, and never push it into the soil. Bulbs sometimes rest and drop their leaves. A firm bulb is alive.
