Father Fish Aquarium was founded by Lou Foxwell, a lifelong aquarist with a passion for recreating nature underwater. Lou developed the Father Fish Method — a natural, low-maintenance approach using deep substrates, native microbes, and live plants to create thriving ecosystems. Today, Father Fish continues to share Lou’s vision through our Salisbury, MD store and online shop, helping aquarists worldwide bring nature into their homes.
